#148103 - One night in a tech support Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Some 25 year ago I worked a few months on a tech support for book keeping systems. In a way that was fun. And it was also rewarding - if You had the nerves of a cow....
There was this particularly tedious customer whose voice is still echoing inside my hollow head. Customer: "What should I do now ?" Me: "Please, press the F2 key." "klicketi - klacket. A long series of keyboard sounds..." Customer: "And now ?" Oliver, I bet that You have also contributed something to the smoothness of the support. Propably Your e-mail was the only one that clearly stated the problem and was easy to understand.... And Yes, thumbs up for the very quick response. |
