I don't get any sort of pulse from the chip in question but the main chips looks like is is communicating with the ext eeprom.
but know that if think of it if the chip runs from internal eeprom then I would not necessarily get any pulse on the port pins.
Isn't the ALE line suppose to generate a constant pulse?
is this where I should check?
