In "me-too" products, market share is acquired by having superior quality at a lower price. Most "me-too" products today are built in China, where labor cost is about as low as it can get. That makes it hard to compete. If you're not prepared to compete with entrenched competitors by cutting price without sacrificing quality and features, you may be "out of luck."
