the first two will kill you, the third will set you up aginst the many experienced manufacturers known for their quality and low EMI. 4) whatever that is - no comment.

Why will the first two kill you? simply because with a nonstandard product (I take you do not have the 20+ Man-years it takes to develop a 'true' PLC) you will spend more money on supporting customers than you ever will sell the product for.

As a small company you have two chances a) custom made at a custom price and b) something that nobody has thought about.
"Another" PLC, "Another" Control board, "Another" SMPS, will not get you anywhere. DO not forget about know-how. I can see many thingies that just looking at them makes me say "why do they cost so much" but there are reasons.
