some years ago I argued and argued against a wrong decision by a boss. finally I said: "you are wrong, but I give up". He in/persisted and when the exact problem with the design I had stated appeared he said "why did you not object?" You made a promise which you have no idea how to keep, and you expect me to solve your problem.
