The question of whether to use a Mealy or Moore machine often pops up in comp.lang.vhdl and comp.arch.fpga.
The proper answer, of course, is "forget that you ever heard the words `Mealy' and `Moore' used in reference to state machines." Arbitrarily constraining yourself to a textbook definition makes things a mess. -a |
