Thats just a type of finite state machine,there are basically either Moore or Mealy type state machines or mixed but i am not going to go into that here.. http://www.cs.umd.edu/class/spr...q/fsm.html
If you understand what the code is actualy doing then go for it or at least when you simulate the code you will be able to see what is happensing with the data going through the output filter it will give you a far better understanding of whats going on. |
