#124336 - Whoops Responding to: ???'s previous message |
No sooner said than proved wrong!
It turns out I was supressing indexing of the forum. Based on the date (a long time ago), I think it's back when there were some issues in terms of how the forum was constructed that could actually lead to nearly infinite links. With the "new" (coming up on 2 years now, I think) version of the forum, that should not happen so robots should be able to spider the forum without getting caught in infinite loops. So hopefully next time Google decides to spider, it'll spider the forum. Imagine that... Everyone in the world trying to get their sites as high as possible in Google and here I am telling robots to ignore the most content-intensive part of the site! I should receive the "Webmaster Darwin Award" for best effort to kill off one's own site. :) Regards, Craig Steiner |
