#124322 - I'd be careful here Responding to: ???'s previous message |
It's pretty common to have something quite useful/interesting pop up in (a) an unrelated thread, (b) as an aside to a thread (c) in a poorly titled thread.
I've occasionally remembered such things, but, when trying to search for them, have always come up empty. I don't know how to fix this, though. I'm just hoping someone will suggest something that's actually realistic. It makes no sense putting the burden on the moderators, but it doesn't seem wise to expand the number of people who have to make critical decisions about what's to be indexed, for example, and under which headings. Perhaps the least useful thing to introduce would be arbitrary ratings on the basis of "value." What's usless rubbish to one person could easily save a month's work for someone else. RE |
