I can't see government controlling industry in a fascism. It's the other way around, just as in our government here in the U.S.
In communist countries, the government and industry and labor are all controlled by the political party, of which there typically is just one, IIRC. Nobody ever owns labor, as it belongs to the folks who, as individuals, provide it, but since government is long-term, and lives of laborers are short-term, it's easy for the government to control them, as they control where and when they work and what they do. It also controls where and when and what they buy, either by controlling supply or by limiting demand in the form of spendable resources (money). Government, however, is pretty slippery. It's hard to pin down just what they're doing and whom they represent. RE |
