Socialism is a politico-economic system wherein there is a close coupling between labor and government.
Fascism is a politico-economic system wherein there is close coupling between business and government. Communism is a politico-economic system wherein government imposes close coupling between business and labor, and controls both, to the benefit of neither, perpetuating only its own goals, however seemingly idealistic. In all three cases, it appears that government is the inherently evil entity, serving only its own goals and putting the blame on the other two entities whenever its actions are called into question. Is it any wonder that anarchist abound wherever there is enough freedom for them to operate? Is there any way to make an elected government responsive to the needs and wishes of the electorate? Methinks that's not possible when the majority of them get their "news" from the TV, and only concern themselves with sports and items of sensational interest. The electorate gets what it deserves.
