How fast are they? a tankless heater kan kick the temp from cold to scalding in (milli?)seconds. Otherwise I agree that a mixing may very well be (part of) the way to controll the beast. I do agree with I would not discourage experimenters either but DO disagree with "just" replacing the pot, that is not 'development' but a risky band-aid. I have seen tankless heaters go crazy when someone flushed (lowering the 'in' pressure) and act even worse if someone turned on the hot water in the bathroom while mommy was doing the dishes in the kitchen sink. Actually, now that I have discussed this a few times, I think there might be an excellent opportunity for an entrepeneur to make a 'perfect' controller for the beast, but nobody should approach that as a job for a few weekends, there is more to it than "just doing it". I had the 'pleasure' of trying the controller I mentioned in a previous post without a tank for a while and finally added a small tank to meet the TTM. Erik |
