#119009 - Looking for 2k ohm digital pot
I trying to replace a 2k ohm mechanical pot in my tankless water heater with a digital pot but am having difficulties finding one with a 2k end to end resistance. If any one has any suggestions where I may find one like this I would appreciate your help. I have searched the net and found as low as 10k at Dallas/Maxim. The mechanical has 3 leads. I do not know what the circuit is on the control board. My project is to use a onewire DS18B20 to sense output temperature of the water heater and adjust the digital pot to maintain the output temperature no matter what the flow rate through the water heater is. Currently the water heater output temperature varies depending on flow rate and that can make for some scalding hot water out of a kitchen faucet at 1.5 gal per minute when I set the mechanical pot for a 2.5 gal per minute shower head. Thanks for your help.

Mike
