#116864 - Not I! Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Frankly, I will never, Never, NEVER vote in favor of an ATMEL product. I don't like the PIC architecture, so I don't use 'em unless someone tells me that's what they want, but I don't recommend ATMEL-anything. I went over that in another thread, and don't really want to repeat here. It all stems from the fact they once used a French design team. The result was that we were painted into a corner with a product that not only didn't work, in their own application/demo-circuit, but which ultimately didn't even exist. The leve of support from the mfg was so poor that my client, and I as well, have written ATMEL off. Even if they produced a 1k0 resistor, I'd want them to post a 1e9-Euro performance bond before I'd believe they had it right.
The French should stick to what they know, i.e. wine, cheese, and how to cook the village draft ox who's outlived his usefulness. RE |
