How, exactly, does MathCad help you? It's great for demonstrating theory to folks who don't understand it, hence, it's useful, perhaps, for documenting new concepts, but as for simulating real devices, and, particularly, combinations of devices, I've seen it do little that's of use.
If you've got PSpice and HSpice, that should be enough, and the latter is primarily intended for RF work. The difficult thing, of course, is the transition between single-vendor device circuits and multi-vendor types. Where does it serve you? Just because I've never seen it do anything useful doesn't mean it can't. It just means I've not seen it. RE |
