Only a bit of doping (dirt, for instance) is enough to drastically decrease the static charge produced by the belts/rollers anrangement. So, it highly depends on the properties of rubber material, which was used for the manufacturing of your belts and rollers. Another reason can be grounding porblems, like Steve and Kalpak already mentioned. TAKE CARE! This can really be dangerous for you!! If you are not sure, whether the individual grounds are proper, then feed additional cables from point to point, providing an additional grounding! It would be of enormous help, if you could post here some more details of your set-up, like a routing scheme, photos, schematics etc. Kai |
