I thought the whole point of the converstion was so that you could use your async scope (DataBoy) to look at the data?
If you're no longer going to use the DataBoy why do you need to convert? Don't you just need to read the data, and do whatever it is with it?? As Russel has said (twice), the phrase "synchronous to asynchronous conversion" is far too generic to give any specific answers - surely it's just a matter of: 1. Receiving the synchronous data; 2. Re-sending that data asynchronously! You say you've already got plenty of stuff about the PS2 memory card's synchronous protocol, so where's the difficulty? As for displaying on an LCD, surely that is just a bog-standard LCD question? - it makes no difference to the LCD where the data actually came from!! |
