What is a "Linux data packet" then, by your definition ? On which port of your PC would you put the data in ?
Steve Ok here's what I want to do exactly. I have new Playstation 2 with ethernet port. All I like to do is monitor the data between the 8mb memory card and the playstation 2. I thought that it would be nice way to test out my datascope in synchronous mode. After I modified the front to work as synchronous data frames. Any way that's what I would like to do. Later on change ps2 to linux software setup. For now I just need some data to test my datascope after I make the mode changes. Steve take a look at this link Databoy home page google it. You will see how my datascope works. I thought one of the members come up with best way change front end to synchronous with maybe logic chips or special chips to do the conversion. I think I might also need some ram store the changes. All changes would have to be done outside the datascope as all chips inside are z80 type with china type numbers. Any suggestions would be helpful. Steve thanks inadvance for reading my thread. Best reguards, Ralph Sack |
