#114732 - DataBoy |
Hi to all members
By way I have now given up on hearing aid project. It's just to much work to keep going. Thanks to all members that gave me their advise. I don't know if any ones used DataBoy but it's rs232 datascope. In case any members are interested. Here's the location. google Databoy home page click on it. It's nice link. Here's my problem I have Databoy rs232 datascope which works great, but I need to convert it to synchronous transmission. It uses z80 type chip at 1 Mhz. I need to measure data at 3.3v on the transmit and receive. Any suggestions how I could set up the front end. Could use 8051 core part. Or just use discret IC chips? I am kind lost on how to do this front part. I am trying to scope Linux data packets. If I can get this to work I will have nice datascope. By the way the card you use in Game Boy Color is only $150. All you need is a Game Boy Color which you can pick up for $25. The usual datascope goes for $400 and about 35lbs. Thanks inadvance for any of your ideas. Best reguards, Ralph S |
