A handful of sub $1 LPCs are a lot easier to handle that a $10 processor trying to do it all one for barcode scanning one for price lookup one for accumulate total bill control the cash drawer calculate change from tendered amount one for credit card authorisation one for receipt printing displays for both customer & checkout operator one for interface to weighing scale one for calculate price for weighed goods What kind of communication protocols are you planning to use?
