#108695 - 8051 based POS |
Hello Group
I was just thinking of coming up with a project wherein the total functionality of the 8051 is tested to the core, with the more readily available peripherals viz LCD, Stepper Motor, Serial Commn, Keypad, EEPROM, RTC etc. Just then, i thought of developing a kind of 8051 based POS (Point of Sale) device which could be used as a data logger when on site (typically on the job) and through wich one could upload the data to the host PC at the end of the day. Is there anything else, as in any other peripherals which could be added along with the above mentioned in a simple typical POS device ? Are there any typival application based code generators (on the lines of Flowcode for PIC ( http://microcontrollershop.com/product_i...cts_id=527 ) Thanks and Success Manish. Gajjaria |
