#104236 - DSS cracking Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I saw a wonderful hack from the makers of the encryption system. If I remember it right, the makers "updated" the system for several months in a very carefully plotted way. Of course the crackers kept pace, exactly as they were expected to do. To reach the solution needed, the crackers had to proceed along a certain path. At the end of the update sequence, the makers transmitted a certain code update, which wiped the entire system of the cracked players, irretrievably. It was truly beautiful.
And I can't find the reference anywhere. Steve |
