#189242 - ATF16V8CZ has Pin-keeper Responding to: ???'s previous message |

I removed the GAL and the µC is running without pull-up. (I see activity on the databus )
It is pin 11 (OE) of an ATF16V8C2, but I have board with different variants. I think you mean ATF16V8CZ, (there is no C2), and yes, that part has Pin-keepers. You hit the jackpot ;) The Pin-keep is a snap-action light driver, that holds a pin H or L, but it does mean it can sink about 40uA, and that just trumps your 27uA PSEN. These light-current values are going to vary quite a lot in production. If you need the PLD, and want to avoid PCB changes, you could switch to the ATF16V8BQL, as that does not use Pin-keep; it has Pullups only. |
