So how do you "Debug" in thje SiLabs IDE?

I find no way to view the status of the Port Bits, Read the value written to the UART (did I configure it for the correct Baud Rate? etc.) Are the values written to the Crossbar correct? How to witness the onboard ADC and DAC? How to witness the Interrupt behavior, etc, etc. (Basically, I am looking for a list of all the "Peripherials" on the Micro and have the ability to interogate it while single-stepping.

How do you witness the status of your "External Push Buttons, data being sent to the ADC and external circuits you have designed,etc. etc?)

This can all be done in Keil IDE, say for example debugging my obsolete P89C668 micro.

Am I missing a secret "window" to all of these tools?
