That the chassis must be grounded because even a low voltage can kill. Remember it's not the voltage, but the current that kills a human. A person could be standing in salty water or some rare event.
Also, if a live wire comes loose and touches the chassis and then someone touches the object they could also become electrified. I would consider chassis grounding and isolation the bare minimum. |
