I have adapted a circuit I got in the internet..." Before you "adapted" it, did you spend time studying the original to ensire that you fully understood how it works? As has been said to you before, you really need to make sure that you understand stuff that you find on the internet before trying to modify/apply it... The 555 is a very widely used, and very well established component - there is a vast amount of information available about it in books, magazine articles and, of course, the interweb. eg, http://www.kpsec.freeuk.com/555timer.htm built it but it is not working as I expected So the first thing to do is to verify your expectation! Then debug the circuit! What basic testing and debugging have you done yourself? Here's some tips to get you started: http://www.8052.com/faqs/120313 http://www.eetimes.com/discussio...geNumber=0 What have you found? eg, does just the 555 part work alone? the motor never turns off, can someone give a help? Remember that thyristors are not necessarily good with inductive loads - like motors... |
