#182421 - There's one important "gotcha" ...
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Many adapters support several package types and pin counts, BUT ... they provide nothing for maintaining short leads between power connections and the associated and required supply bypass members. I use SMT-to-100-mil-grid adapters quite frequently and find this to be quite annoying. the result seems to be that I have to "cut and paste" connections, sometimes on the adapter and sometimes simply on the top of the SMT device in order to provide the bypass cap's with leads shorter than 1 cm.

This is annoying.
