#180269 - Once digital? Responding to: ???'s previous message |

The interfacing to a 8051 (once converted to digital) is pretty straightforward and is not my concern right now. Note that a 8051 with ADC can allow you to connect an analog signal directly to the 8051. And another thing is that analog values need not always be measured as a voltage with an ADC. In some situations, it is more suitable to convert the voltage or energy into a pulse, where the processor measures the length of the pulse. |
