Thanks for the quick initial responses.
I am only looking to know what the maximum amplitude was. Per said: "if you can just use a standard ADC". That's the kind of thing I'm looking for: is there a typical "standard ADC"? Are there ADC chips with multiple analog inputs (like 4 or 8) that I could then scan using address lines? This is for a one-off project and the precision doesn't need to be very high. I'm just trying to use low cost standard chips if I can. If I can get about 8 levels of sensitivity out of it I would be quite happy with that. As for sampling and hold, hopefully it could be done with as little as a RC circuit if I can scan the analog inputs fast enough. Experimenting with a scope will tell me that. Thanks again. |
