"What is worse?" is not an easy question to answer.

The question what is worse is really asking what is the quantitative difference between the 232 and the 232A

'worse' is not an absolute word. anyhow, being 100 times off will be 'worse' that being 10 times off.

This discussion actally is ridiculous, who gives a $#!^ about what happens if you do not follow the datasheet, follow the datasheet
