Its an assignment to investigate whether it can be done or not really. The application would be a device that can program blank uC's ready for use in the chosen circuit without having to carry a computer round.
I do not know about Atmel, but if you switch to NXP 89c51rd2 EVERYTHING you need to know about programming serially is in the datasheet/user guide. NOTE!!!! the NXP records do NOT work with Atmel Erik |
