About a decade and a half ago, AUDI was the "featured" guest on an episode of "Sixty Minutes", a popular U.S. news feature "magazine" on TV for the same problem, not involving as many cars, since they don't sell as many as Toyota, and for stonewalling investigators with respect to exactly the same problem.

Why do you suppose the Toyota issue is attracting so much more attention? There were more deaths in the Audi case, over a shorter time, yet the Audi case seemed to "fly under the radar". The Audi situation destroyed quite a number of garages, yet never made the newspapers.

What's up with that?
