#170603 - Majority requests probably not affected by datasheet quality Responding to: ???'s previous message |

If they feel they have lots of support requests, that's a clear indication that their datasheets and other material is crappy. Alas not. I expect a very large number of support requests would arrive whatever they write in the datasheets. We all want better datasheets, but the majority of questions is still probably from people who doesn't really read the documentation. And people who assume that all their bugs must be either compiler bugs or undocumented processor errors. That is why the manufacturers should really try to have active forums, so they can get volunteers to help out with the huge amount of RTFM questions. |
