#170602 - and this is idiotic Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Joe Gold said:
NXP support only profesional programmers using ICP and they don' want to enter in to technical support issues with end developer. And this is completely idiotic. This completely negates the point of ISP, or whatever they call it. And why should I BEG for their support, once THEY want to sell me parts??? If they feel they have lots of support requests, that's a clear indication that their datasheets and other material is crappy. Maybe they can blind the management types with their flashy video stuff, but when it comes to the real work, the truth shows through: the emperor IS naked. Lynn Reed of Tekmos once said here, that his only option to provide support is to send his customer to 8052.com. I feel I would be better off support-wise being his customer, than NXP's. JW |
