I think that's probably going to be far too much detail far too soon!

What is needed is more of a broad overview to decide if it's even going to be worth downloading the so-called bible - let alone studying it in detail.

eg, if "no C# support" is a real show-stopper, then any further investigation of anything 8051-based is pointless and a complete waste of time!

I think something like the EDN Microprocessor Directory would probably be a better starting point:
