#163078 - more pics
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hello,

Thanks again for taking the time to read this. First, two more pictures to show an individual character instead of a repeating stream of characters. The first image HERE shows the U bitstream. When I program the uC to send a U out the serial port and up to HyperTerminal, I get the expected U character on the screen.

The next image HERE shows the 3 bitstream. When I program the UC to send a 3 up to the computer serial port, I do not get the 3 in the terminal window....I get an f instead. Looking at the ASCII table for 3, the bitstream should be 00110011. However, I'm obviously actually receiving a 01100110 thus the f displayed in the terminal window but the question is why?

Thanks again for your time,
Brian
