Yeah, that is a my bad, should be how many ticks per minute as a breakdown.

Here is the hardware that at this point can't be changed.....

The interrupt is shared between the shutdown monitor circuit to dump the memory to the EEPROM and then the monitor of the speed input by polling the Speed input and the VCC monitor in the ISR to decide what action is taken......the memory dump work fine, so its the speed ciruit....hence this thread.
