Otherwise, you will also have to write a custom PC application to retrieve the data. It's probably easier to teach the PC to interpret raw data from an SD/MMC card than to teach the '51 to read/write to a file system, even a simple one like FAT. A setup like this (uC writes raw data to SD/MMC card, PC interprets it) puts most of the processing effort on the side that's best equipped to deal with it - the PC. |
