That is the equivalent of "I have tested" or "I know my pointer is not Atomic, but It is working" "No evidence of failure" is worthless "Evidence of functionality" is valuable Yes, it seem to be the exact opposite, but proving functionality is a lot more difficult than running some tests. How many units do you know that "fail, but so rarely that we can do nothing about it". Erik |
