I'll agree that experimental projects should be labeled as such, but if someone-A grabs USB bit-banging code off of the Internet and throws it into a life-critical application, that's not the fault of the person-B that put the USB bit-banging code online

You got run over in the parking lot, it was the drivers fault, but you died anyway.

While I agree that the fault lies with 'A' I still think one can fault 'B' for stating "this works" instead of "this may fail".
