#179829 - "EOL" Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi,Jan
After Your letter i rechecked Atmel website for 3 minutes - i did not found, where is EOL page. Writing EOL here , i mean "EOL" - nobody knows what exactly happens. For example: 1) - AT45db161d dissapears and price is going up to 11..15USD. AT45DB321d is 3..4usd. Software change is very minor. I suppose AT45db321 will dissapear in next 5 months. Numonix/ST/Micron - i tired to search who exactly produces page erasable serial flash. I hope next year to solve this problem. 2) - AT91SAM7se256-au (ARM:-)) - i'm searching for this last 4..5 months - no success. 3) - AT24C512 - Atmel changed package marking. Now marking on chip is something stupid. But Microchip from China is cheap. 4)In the past i have had problems with "dissapearing" of AT89c55, AT8951RC and last years i'm happy with Winbond/Nuvoton. BTW - last chips are with preprogrammed bootloader. So - hope some day i'll be Atmel-free. regards |
