I think the main trick is actually to use the cheapest possible batteries. Normally 2032 size but with half or maybe even 25% of the capacity of a "real" 2032 battery. The goal here is to build them for maybe $0.50 each, so we are not talking about high-end materials.
If using brand-name batteries, you should select a color that is around 3V, and stay away from the 2V or sub-2V LED:s. |
