#177345 - Is a PD78312A better than an 8051? |
I found a PD78312A on a computer hard drive PCB.
The PD78312A is slower, but has more functions. The 8051 is faster, but less functions. Will a PC-based 8051 assembler work for the PD78312A? It has an EA pin, and I have plenty of flash memory to work with. Thanks, Nathan |
