#175806 - Professional Vs hobbyist Responding to: ???'s previous message |
As a professional engineer, the cost of a schematic capture and PCB layout package can usually be justified. I'm a bit perplexed why some of the very expensive stuff continues to thrive when IMO some of the cheaper stuff is better, but that's just my experience.
There also seem to be some decent tools for the hobbyist in the sub £100 price range, but they are a different beast from the professional stuff. The difficulty I have is that I don't want to use the hobby stuff after using professional tools! |
