#175803 - not so fast ... Responding to: ???'s previous message |
James Hinnant said:
I thought the village blacksmith made the tools, and the bad craftsman blamed the tools because he had to blame it on SOMEthing besides himself. The village blacksmith didn't make all the tools ... and, he didn't have to use them. With PCB software, the guys who make the tools don't have to make their livings using them. That's why they, especially the Windows-based tools, are such rubbish. They're full of "kewl" features that look good but serve no real purpose, yet make everything else work more poorly, less conveniently, and, of course, less productively. Those "kewl" features can turn the 30-minute task into a 6-week task. RE |
