#174069 - Hah! Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I have been buying a lot of very nice, old, test- and measurement equipment on E-bay lately. Now, I understand, but not necessarily agree ;-), I have to pay VAT when importing this stuff. The Dutch Taxman (name unknown), however, seems to think I should pay this not on the item price, but on the total, including shipping!
When you're buying the kind of boat-anchors I'm after, shipping is often about as much as the price of the item. So far, they haven't even responded to my complaints :-( Rob. |
