#174053 - They have it well sown up Responding to: ???'s previous message |
air travel is probably cheaper on a low cost airline as long as you don't mind traveling at 4.30 in the morning to some airport miles from anywhere.
On the train this morning they managed to add insult to injury by having no catering on a two and a half hour journey and not enough seats so at least half the passengers had to stand all the way.The the ticket inspector comes round and some poor sod who had some ticket which was only for 'off peak' (which is 8.20 to 8.35 on a Sunday or something similar) travel had to pay the full fare again on the train. Rude unhelpful staff and dirty trains all add to the fun. |
