#169216 - with pin headers and connectors
Responding to: ???'s previous message

Hi, people!
For hobby project i'm planing to stack 3+ pcb : 1- with micro and some transceivers,2 - with memory, 3 with other circuits, 4-with IO buffers. I'm trying to minimize dimensions using 2-sided boards.
So i started from memory and i get rectangular board with two 2x10(2.54) headers on left and right.
Next was microcontroller board, wich i routed too ,using same headers with wires assignment. Problem is to realize what connector type to use on both sides of board, to connect next boards. One decision to double headers, but this invokes ordering of boards. Other is to use SMT headers (male on one , female on other) - but this invokes problems with aligning - for example female SMT header has 2 aligning pins(plastic) between 2 pin rows, but i cant use these - i must place wires there ... male header has no aligning pins....
Some other clever idea?
regards

I'm used pin headers and connectors........the cheapest way for me.

Thank's
