#168670 - Just a practicallity then Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I have been in simular circumstances, where we have had to design solutions to make it easy for an electrician to measure 24V or 0V just to make it easy for the old school.
You will probably have to live with their requirements just to make them happy. Not sure if the "Maskindirectived" really requires this, but sourcing the control voltage means the electrician can easily check the logic level before connecting the relay. They are not used to use a resistance meter to see of an open-collector transistor is driven or not - especially when the resistance meter must be connected with correct polarity. |
