Oliver is totally correct. One can use MS Project - but you can get sucked into spending a lot of time trying to make the tool work for you when the time would have been better spent writing an honest status report.
In my experience as a developer...always look ahead and anticipate problems and work out at least two mitigation strategies and then go to the client / management. It is never good to: - Ignore problems - even if they are not of your doing - Pretend that everything will "just work out OK" - Not have a plan - Be untruthful about "where you are" Michael Karas |
